If you haven’t heard about any of this yet let me get you caught up. Steve Rannazzisi is a really funny actor/comedian most famous for being on FX’s The League and also is a spokesperson for Buffalo Wild Wings:

For all these years now he’s been claiming he was working at Merrill Lynch in their offices on the 54th floor of the south tower the morning the planes hit and was able to escape and this is what prompted his attempt at being a comedian. His most in depth “account” of 9/11 was when he was on the Marc Maron podcast in December of 2009. Turns out that it is all complete bulls**t and people are understandably really pissed. None more deservedly so than Pete Davidson of SNL fame who’s father was a firefighter and was a first responder and died on 9/11. Mr. Davidson was on the Opie Radio show (along with Elijah Wood who pops in for some reason) to talk about the whole thing and played some clips from Rannazzisi’s Marc Maron podcast interview.
