Last Week Tonight: Public Defenders

By | Funny, TV | One Comment

Last night on Last Week Tonight John Oliver talked about Public Defenders, and how their case loads affect their job (basically making them useless). Interesting fact I learned from this: the right to an attorney has only been around since 1963. You learn something new every day.

Previously on Last Week Tonight:

LGBT Discrimination

Sex Education

Why D.C. Should Become a State

Sports Stadiums

America’s Bail System

Chicken Farming

Standardized Testing

Here’s the first official full length trailer for HBOs new show Vinyl. It’s from Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger and it looks incredible! I can’t wait for this one, although I’m gonna have to because it doesn’t come out until 2016.

The Leftovers Season 2 Full trailer

By | TV | One Comment

The first season of The Leftovers was my favorite new show of 2014 so I’m damn excited to finally seeing the first full length trailer for season 2! From what I understand the first season completely covered what was in the book so this is going to be all original stuff. The premise of this season is our main dude Kevin Garvey takes his family to a town called Miracle which no departures happened…and of course s**t gets crazy. I’m so excited!

TRAILER: Ferrel Takes The Field

By | Funny, TV | No Comments

Earlier this year during spring training Will Ferrell played 10 different positions on 10 different teams for this HBO show. It looks hilarious because almost everything Will Ferrell does is hilarious. Unfortunately it doesn’t air until September 12th.

The Leftovers: Season 2 Teaser

By | TV | No Comments

The Leftovers was one of my favorite shows last year. If you haven’t seen it I suggest you binge watch it right now. Now we have the teaser for season 2. The first season was based on a book by the same name so I’m excited to see where they go with the show since it’s all original now. From what I gather from the trailer apparently in Jarden, TX there was never any departures, so naturally everyone wants be there. I can’t wait! The new season starts this Fall on HBO.
