TRAILER: I Am Chris Farley

By | Funny, Movies | No Comments

Chris Farley was one of the funniest humans the planet has ever seen, and his tragic too-soon death was a devastating blow to anyone that knew him personally and to everyone who got to enjoy his movies and TV. This trailer for the documentary about his life is definitely going to make people laugh and cry at the same time. The documentary will feature the likes of David Spade, Christina Applegate, Dan Aykroyd, Lorne Michaels, Mike Myers, Adam Sandler, and Molly Shannon. I Am Chris Farley is in theaters on July 31st.

If you saw the Academy Award winning documentary Man On Wire then you know the true story. Now director Robert Zemeckis wants you to watch Joseph Gordon-Levitt pretend to be the dude that walked across the World Trade Centers on a wire. It actually looks pretty good.

TRAILER: American Ultra

What if Jason Bourne was a stoner that worked at 7-11, was engaged to Kristen Stewart, and had a buddy that wants to drop acid at a strip club at 8:15 in the morning? If that was a question you sometimes asked yourself, now you have an answer. This looks damn awesome actually. The cast is sick: Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, John Leguizamo, and Topher Grace. I’m going to watch this so hard.

KUNG FURY Official Movie

By | Funny, Movies | No Comments

Thanks to a kickstarter campaign based on this trailer this movie actually got made (only a half hour long). It’s hard to describe so here’s the YouTube description:
Kung Fury is an over-the-top 80’s action comedy that was crowd funded through Kickstarter. It features Kung Fury, a Kung Fu renegade cop who travels back in time to kill his Nemesis, Hitler. The film features nazis, dinosaurs, vikings and cheesy one-liners.

You know, the oldest story in the book. Whatever, just watch it. It’s hilarious.

TRAILER: Knock Knock

This is the new movie from Hostel director Eli Roth and it looks like a humdinger. Keanu Reeves has a threesome with two hot stranded strangers and then they beat the shit out of him (horrible synopsis, I know).

New AMC Series “HUMANS” Has A Trailer

By | TV | No Comments

AMC was at the forefront of amazing TV Series with Mad Men and then Breaking Bad, but has been in a bit of a slump lately. Their shows Turn, Halt and Catch Fire, Low Winter Sun (ugh), and Hell On Wheels were all pretty much letdowns even though they’re not all that bad (except Low Winter Sun, that show sucked). So let’s hope their new series, Humans, can change that. The trailer, while very reminiscent of iRobot, looks promising.

“Vacation” Red Band Trailer

By | Movies | No Comments

When I first heard that they were making another Vacation movie I didn’t have very high hopes, but this trailer actually makes it look somewhat promising. I like how they’re referencing the fact that they’re pretty much just remaking the original which reminded me of the 21 Jump Street movies. Let’s hope the actually movie isn’t a huge letdown.

TRAILER: Area 51

By | Movies | No Comments

This comes from Oren Peli, director of Paranormal Activity. Apparently he made this one directly after Paranormal Activity but it hasn’t been released yet. Not really a good sign, but the trailer looks promising.
