Here’s list from Screen Rant about some adult jokes in kids cartoons that we missed when we were younger. Also, Monday mornings suck.
Here’s a nice list from Screen Rant of some strange/funny stuff in the background of movies.
Here’s a list from Screen Rant about some hidden details behind some of our favorite movie characters…and yes Captain Hook is gay.
Here’s a list from Screen Rant showing how Hollywood loves to shoot in the same locations over and over.
Screen Rant continues to pump out list after list and this one is 10 movies you (probably) didn’t know were based on actual events and stories. Definitely didn’t know Nacho Libre was an actual thing that happened.
Here’s a cool video from Screen Rant showing us some cool details in some popular movies.
They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but these ripoffs are just terrible.
These movies done screwed up.
I think you could pick almost any mission in the Grand Theft Auto games and turn that into a pretty damn good action/thriller.
Who is your favorite actor to play Batman?
Did you think that Crank was based on Grand Theft Auto? I might have to call BS on that one, but other than that this is a good list.
Everyone loves Superbad, so here are some things you probably didn’t know about it.
Screen Rant put together this cool list of some really difficult scenes to shoot from movies. The lists includes Inception, Spiderman, Kill Bill, Saving Private Ryan, Iron Man 3, Lord of the Rings, Apollo 13, Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol, Cliffhanger, and The Abyss. If you haven’t seen the Making Of videos for the nightmare that was The Abyss shoot I highly recommend doing that:
Here is a list of some bloopers than made it into the final cut of films.
Subliminal messages are everywhere, here are some of the most disturbing ones according to Alltime10s.
MXC, or Most Extreme Elimination Challenge , was one of the funniest shows ever to come out of Japan. Scratch that, it was one of the funniest and most entertaining shows ever! So now for no reason at all here are the 25 most painful eliminations.
Here’s CineFix’s picks for the 10 best heroes of all time. Do you agree with it?
There’s really not much description needed here. WatchMojo counted down the top 10 actresses who have taken it all off for movies. Blah blah blah, just watch it.
I happen to like every movie on this list, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t really stupid and large plot holes in them. Here are the movies on Screen Rant‘s list:
1. The Avengers
2. The Wolverine
3. The Matrix
4. Minority Report
6. Star Wars: A New Hope
7. Batman Begins
8. Terminator 2
9. Guardians of the Galaxy
10. Back to the Future Part 2
So not every one of theses endings are better than the ones they chose to go with. I like the theatrical endings of Terminator 2, 28 Days Later way more than the original endings that were cut.
Subliminal messages are everywhere in movies, and in this video Screen Rant points out their top 6. The one I found most fascinating was the low frequency noise in the movie Irreversible (side not, this is not a great first-date movie) which causes uneasiness when hearing it.
Most of these are ridiculous but I can’t help but really want to see a version of The Shining staring Robin Williams.
Watch this and you’ll definitely feel better about your own intelligence.
Fight Club is one of my favorite movies of all time and I thought I knew everything about it. I’ve ready the trivia, I’ve listened to the DVD commentary, which is awesome by the way, totally worth it. Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, and director David Fincher spend a lot of time hilariously bashing Oprah because she gave away the plot twist on her show when the movie was in theaters. So I was surprised that I actually didn’t know a few of these trivia tidbits in this video.
Here’s CineFix’s picks for the best movie villains of all time. I liked that they put Lil Ze in there from City of God, one of my favorite movies of all time.
